Andy Warhol Inspired Photoshop Project

In my Andy Warhol-inspired Photoshop project, I began by selecting a photo of my younger self, cropping it, and importing it into Photoshop. Through the use of Photoshop tools and filters, I aimed to capture the essence of Warhol's iconic style. I sourced a photograph of a local mural in Tremont, OH from DJ Johnson via unsplash.com. The mural, painted by artists Vic Savage and Alan Giberson, holds significance as it represents the Cleveland area where I was born and raised. Using layer masks, I seamlessly incorporated my Warhol-inspired portraits onto the mural. To create a more realistic photograph, I carefully overlaid textured bricks from the mural. Through this creative journey, I honed my Photoshop skills and discovered new avenues for visual expression.
